What to Expect
Your First Visit At your initial visit, Dr. Betz will sit down with you to truly listen to your health concerns. He will then perform a comprehensive examination to determine the root cause of your symptoms. This visit lasts about an hour and includes vital signs, a spinal exam, a posture assessment, computerized thermal testing of the spine, and both orthopedic and neurological evaluations. If imaging is needed, digital X-rays are available right here in our office. Many of our patients share that this is the most thorough examination they have ever experienced.
Your Second Visit On your second visit, Dr. Betz will review your X-ray findings (if taken) and thoroughly explain your upcoming chiropractic care, answering any questions you may have before your first adjustment. He will perform precise before-and-after assessments to measure the immediate corrections that take place. This initial adjustment is vital, as it helps project the ideal care plan for your individual needs. Based on your history, exam, and early results, Dr. Betz will design a personalized treatment plan to help you reach your health goals.
Regular Visits During the initial phase of your care, visits will be more frequent to help your body stabilize. As you improve, your appointments will naturally space out, and you will begin introducing home exercises to support your progress. Once your condition is stable and your goals are met, Dr. Betz will transition you into wellness and maintenance care. Just as regular dental cleanings are essential to preserve your teeth, routine maintenance appointments protect the health of your spine. After all, you can replace your teeth—but you only get one spine!
